The AGF promotes dialogue between actors involved in family policy. We welcome constructive and objective discussions and different, appreciative and respectful views, which we are happy to give space to at our events. We see AGF events as spaces where lively and engaged discussion takes place and personal integrity and self-respect are upheld.
People from a wide variety of backgrounds and with different opinions communicate with each other at our events. Please treat other participants as you would like to be treated yourself. As everywhere else, respectful interaction is the basis for constructive discussion. It goes without saying that content such as insults, disparaging remarks, defamation of individuals or organisations, vulgar language or personal provocations will not be tolerated. The same applies to discriminatory, racist, xenophobic, sexist or anti-constitutional contributions.
We also ask that you refrain from comment floods or constantly repeating the same content. Please formulate your comments, chat posts, criticism and arguments in an appreciative, polite, factual and constructive manner.
We would prefer that no one hides behind anonymity, but uses their real name whenever possible. In particular, we reject the use of anonymity to make the above-mentioned statements. Conversely, we appeal to participants not to allow discussions to escalate, but to ignore comments once in a while and ‘leave time letting the dust settle on it’ or to clarify them in a personal conversation afterwards. Participants are rarely interested in pursuing a personal dispute.
In the event of repeated violations of these netiquette, we reserve the right to exclude the person in question from the chat or from our online event.
Thank you for your understanding – we look forward to a good discussion!
