Date: 12 May 2025, 11:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Location: BFS-Konferenzzentrum Centre Monbijou, Oranienburger Str. 13-14, 10178 Berlin
The event will focus on the key messages of the 10th German Family Report. The report has chosen, among other things, the promotion of the economic independence of mothers and fathers, the strengthening of joint parental responsibility, the consideration of families in particularly difficult circumstances and the recognition and promotion of the diversity of family forms as guiding premises.
The event offers space for an exchange between the interested professional public, actors in family policy and the authors of the report on the analyses and recommendations of the report. We are particularly pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Michaela Kreyenfeld, chair of the 10th Family Report Commission, and Prof. Dr. Miriam Beblo, deputy chair of the 10th Family Report Commission, as speakers. In addition, the family organisations organised within the AGF will give comments on the report. Furthermore, there will be an intensive discussion in plenary.
The conference will be held in German language only.
