COFACE – Families Europe and AGF are jointly organising the conference ‘The impact of digitalisation on 21st century families’ on 7-8 November in Berlin. Experts and stakeholders will get together to discuss this topic, aiming to stimulate debate, put some practical examples out there, and take a peek at what the future will bring.
These key issues will be addressed:
- Impact of new digital workplaces on families.
- Digitalisation – Providing better scope for combining work and family life?
- Technology and the full employment paradigm – families out of a job?
- Sharing economy to complement family incomes.
- Impact of information and communication technologies on families as consumers and citizens.
- Accessibility to technology for people with impairments and disabilities – myth or reality?
- ICT: empowered families or manipulated families?
- Data analytics: friend or foe?
- The growing commercialization of the Internet. Data collection, advertisements and services.
- Creating new workers. Preparing young people for the changing employment landscape.
- Children/youth as internet consumers and content producers: creating a safe digital universe for our children.
Interpretation
Interpretation from/into English and German will be provided on Tuesday 8th for the Welcome, Opening and Closing plenaries.
There are two workshop sessions, each session is divided into three workshops on a variety of digitalisation trends. One out of the three workshops per session will have English-German interpretation. Conference language on Monday, 7th will be English only.
